In the agricultural and commercial vehicle sectors, exceptionally high demands are placed on connection technology. The environmental conditions and daily stresses are particularly challenging. In this industry as well, the trend is moving away from manual assembly toward overmolded and ready-to-use connection technology. The advantages of this solution are clear: reduced susceptibility to errors as well as faster, more reliable, and cost-effective wiring.
ETM connectors meet the protection classes IP67 and IP69K, making them optimally protected against water, dust, and dirt. This makes them particularly suitable for outdoor use. They also withstand extreme temperature fluctuations and are designed for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +90°C. Especially in mobile automation, connectors are often exposed to strong vibrations. ETM connectors provide high stability in such cases, thereby preventing unwanted contact interruptions. With a space-saving design, they can also be easily integrated into confined installation areas.
