Overmolded connectors with Push-Pull Locking Mechanism
With the new M12 push-pull connectors as a male version with inner locking, ESCHA GmbH & Co. KG is expanding its portfolio of industrial connection technology for demanding applications. The new solutions are designed for use in factory automation, mechanical & plant engineering, intralogistics & railway and transportation technology, among other fields and enable fast, tool-free connection technology combined with secure locking.
Faster and more secure locking with audible and tactile feedback
M12 push-pull connectors enable quick and intuitive connection - without any screws. The connector is simply inserted and locks automatically. Audible and tactile feedback signals that the connection has locked securely. This makes installing connectors particularly convenient and reliable - even in tight spaces or hard-to-reach areas. At the same time, the locking mechanism ensures a stable connection even under vibration and shock loads.
Improved Efficiency and Quality
The tool-free push-pull technology significantly reduces assembly and service times. At the same time, the defined locking mechanism minimizes potential assembly errors and ensures consistent connection results. This simplifies installation processes and increases efficiency during commissioning, maintenance and service. This results in noticeable advantages in daily operations, particularly in modular system designs, mobile applications, or situations involving frequent mating cycles.
Wide range of variants for various applications
The new connectors are available in A, D, and X coding at the start of series production, covering applications for signal, fieldbus, and Industrial Ethernet communication. In addition, various cable qualities are available, specifically tailored to the requirements of different industries and applications - for example, for highly flexible applications in mechanical engineering, rugged mobile automation or data-intensive Ethernet communication.
The ESCHA Difference
The push-pull connectors are designed for demanding industrial operating conditions and support protection ratings up to IP67 or IP68. As part of the product qualification process, tests are conducted on mechanical endurance, locking and retention forces, as well as vibration, shock and corrosion resistance. This makes these solutions suitable for demanding applications in automation, transportation, intralogistics, and mobile machinery. In addition products from the ESCHA standard portfolio custom variants and individual cable solutions can be implemented using push-pull technology.
Conclusion
The receptacles are designed for use in demanding industrial environments and support protection ratings up to IP68. As part of the product qualification process, tests are conducted on mechanical service life, locking and extraction forces, as well as vibration, shock, and corrosion resistance. This makes the solutions suitable for demanding applications, such as in mechanical engineering, intralogistics, or in railway technology. In addition, products from the ESCHA standard portfolio and custom modifications and specific customer requi rements can be realized using push-pull technology.
