At ESCHA, we develop customized connectivity solutions on a daily basis. We generate more than fifty percent of our revenue with modifications and developments. Our in-house processes are adapted to realize your individual tasks. The following solutions have recently been implemented:

Individual B-side assembly
Receptacles with stranded wires and board connector
Due to guarantee a reliable and safe data transmission, we realized receptacles with stranded wires upon customer request. Additionally, we added a board connector to the respective B-side. Stranded wires prevent data being transferred via one wire to be transmitted to another wire. They stop mutual interference of signals – the so-called crosstalk.
M12 junction cable with wear sensor
For a customer from the wind power industry we have installed a wear sensor to a M12 junction cable to determine the exact abrasion of brake pads. This sensor gives a signal as soon as the brake pads have reached their minimum size and need to be changed. The M12 connector is predestined for the extreme vibration- and environmental loads prevailing in wind turbines.
High-temperature connector with potting
One of our customers uses M8- and M12 junction cables, mounted to a motor housing by a shielded cable screw. In the end, the motor housing gets completely filled with potting compound. Due to the capillary effect, the compound enters the cable jacket and has a negative effect on the cable’s flexibility. Upon customer request, we developed a solution in which ESCHA takes on the assembly of the cable screw and seals it with a special pre-potting. In addition, we deliver the items in customer-specific sets with two different cables in each case.
Branding- and OEM connectivity
M12 flash drive
An M12 flash drive may be used like an USB flash drive. Our customer uses it to parametrize machinery and benefits from several advantages: Next to the already existing and industry-proven M12 interfaces there is no need for additional interfaces. In contrast to USB ports, M12 ports meet the significantly higher IP67 demands regarding dust- and water tightness. Additionally, the M12 flash drive helps to prevent manipulating the machine by a usual USB flash drive.
Connectors with individual grip-body and logo
You are looking for a connector with individual grip body for your application due to challenging mounting conditions or because you have to use a special mounting tool? Maybe you just want to have a unique design to stand out from the crowd? Or are you already satisfied with your company logo on a standard connector? In each case, ESCHA is the right partner. We develop your personal grip body or add your logo to our connectors.
Ready-made harnesses
Individual connectors do not help you along? You are looking for ready-made harnesses which are adapted inch-perfectly to your individual application and are supplied with appropriate cable printings and labels instead? At ESCHA, we pool our connectors and create your individual harnesses. In the end, we carry out electrical tests and bundle them in kits according to your request.
Customer-specific turning parts
We design and process customer-specific turning parts for your individual application. It is up to you to define size, form, and material of the desired turning part. Then, we will take care about the rest. The result is reliable connectivity which is exactly adapted to your needs and your application.
